Moora · Shu Fang ("Moora", "we", "our") is a calligraphy ritual app designed to support emotional wellbeing through mindful writing practice. We take your privacy seriously.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, used for authentication via Supabase.
• Session data: Mood notes, writing phrases chosen, session duration, soundscape selection, and post-session feelings — stored to build your personal Ink Memory.
• Writing tool preference: Hard pen, brush, or both, stored to personalise phrase recommendations.
• Photos (optional): If you choose to upload a photo of your written work, it is stored securely and associated with your account only.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalised calligraphy phrase recommendations via Claude AI (Anthropic). Your mood and session context are sent to Anthropic's API — no identifying information (name, email) is included in these requests.
• To display your writing history in the Ink Memory timeline.
• To generate system insights comparing your sessions over time.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use Row Level Security so only you can access your own data.

Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Moora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
